Constructed in 2015, Battersea park was a tricky construction due to a tree protection order being slapped on us. We could not dig within a 15m radius of some large trees. This meant we had to follow contours and be careful! We also had to contend with Go Ape working above us on the high ropes course.
This time our central path was built using millboard all weather decking as we were not allowed to dig into the ground. We still managed to somehow create a fun course but not having machinery is a bit of a sore point (oh my back!).
due to its tourist location. As such it has taken a bit of a battering. It still has some unique holes. Hole 3 which is shown below, has the player actually aiming to put the ball in the upper stream. The ball will drop off the waterfall and bounce on a rock, then onto the green and towards the hole. Even after all these years I still see people scrambling to prevent their ball going over the waterfall! The London plane trees that tower over the course, with high ropes attached create shade during hot summer days as well as a lot of pollen

Mud Mud Every where. UK Parks courses get so much trafficked in. This is a course that suffers with excess dirt due to its location beside a damp part of the park. Please keep of the course if not playing and be sure to clean your shoes before entering the course! Some hopes! We will looking to add a focus on the mud issue in an upcoming feature on the maintenance pages.
