Super Fairways for ranges can be laid with striping effect. They are robust and perfect for out on the range. We provide various grades but a stiff upright fibre surface, with rubber and sand infill is best. Before considering low cost alternatives or thatch twist surfaces you must be fully aware that plastic flattens. It is therefore important to get a surface that requires infill. The infill absorbs the balls impact affecting ball roll. Generally fairway surfaces will have a ball roll similar to summer conditions all year round.

Rough grass practice turf

feels real and complements the fairway surface well. Being slightly darker in colour and of course longer in height, it will make the fairway stand out. The rough fake grass will allow the ball to nestle between the fibres and therefore create a more realistic imitation, of what you may face on the course. For grasses on the course it is all about the three main factors- Density, Length and contrast. Of these contrast is perhaps the most important, as we need to visually feel that the course is as it should be. For instance a dark green, golf green with a light surround will not quite look right, unless you want your course to look like it is in mid winter
